Life sure does fly by sometimes. It's funny too because I think of the crawling phase of babies as lasting years. In other words, they stay babies for quite a while. Well, we're right on the cusp of Evan doing a lot of actual walking. He's been taking between 5-8 steps at a time to get from one thing to another. And the people at daycare told us yesterday that he was "walking all over the room". Before I blink he's going to be a little kid running around and talking - just crazy.
We've been having a lot of fun lately though, he's a hoot to play with now. He'll take turns where we chase him, he chases us, etc - laughing the whole time too. He's also been doing a lot of stacking of things, putting toys inside other toys like the blender Janna and Dave got him for Christmas. He hasn't learned to say "Will it blend?" yet though when he puts his sock monkey's head in the blender, haha. But he'll walk behind his walker toy, stop, bend down to pick up something, and place it up on the walker and keep going like it's a grocery cart or something, funny to watch.
Only one new video up on facebook recently and one I need to work on putting together and uploading sometime this weekend. This one is of him and the Easter card that Granny Sue sent him - he loved it. So much he started eating it and we had to take it away because it was falling apart, but he had a lot of fun with it first:
I've also taken a handful of new photos over the last few weeks and added them to his 8-9 month old gallery linked below. In there are also the photos from last weekend when we brought him to Picture People. For it just being one set kind of look to the photos from there and being "just a place in the mall", they get some cute shots still:
Most of the new stuff is on pages 2 and 3 so I just linked to page 2. I like the photos, but like I started this post by saying, time is flying. Really should be shooting more, feels like he's growing up quickly now.
