Blah, we're in RSV hell here.

Evan's been sick all week - snotty, cough, fever, positive for RSV. At least the fever has more or less broken and it's just coughing and congestion now. It takes more patience than I have to stay home with a sick baby. Ugh.

Evan on the hunt...

If you click the title it will be a full sized copy instead of seeing it in the small embeded window.

By the way, sorry about the previous few videos not working, facebook still uses the security set on the video even if I embed it elsewhere. I've changed the permissions on them to Everyone so that they work here without having to be a facebook friend.

I stopped using Vimeo for videos because of the limitations on Free accounts since FB allows unlimited HD video uploads for free.

You do have to have a facebook account to click on the title and view it in full size though.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Really looking forward to 2010 but seriously doubt it has much of a chance of besting 2009. The birth of our child and meeting my realistic career goals in life is pretty tough competition to beat.

This has been a really good Christmas break from work. We've been off work since the 23rd and we go back this coming Monday the 4th. It hasn't been a total lazy vacation either. The biggest project we've tackled is painting. We got a new dark brown ottoman to replace our coffee table with the glass top for obvious reasons now that Evan is mobile. It and the TV stand didn't look right with the darker brown walls so we went lighter - looks like coffee with cream in it now - called Canyon Pebble, but who knows where they come up with names like that. It's the no-VOC paint and while painting it has a slight odor similar to Elmer's glue, but even later the same day you can't smell it anymore - very nice. Didn't get to the kitchen yet, it'll end up the same color as the living room now.

Also took Christina's car in to be looked at for a humming noise, got my eye exam before my insurance changes Jan 1st and I lose vision coverage, fixed the fireplace draft, swapped in tamper-resistant electrical outlets in the living room, sprayed the lawn with weed killer but couldn't mow because of the rain the next day, etc, etc. Like I said, been a busy break from work. Sadly the list of stuff still not checked off is longer than the list of stuff finished. I blame the xbox for that.

I also added the last 4 images to Evan's 4-5 month gallery and the first shots of 2010 taken this morning:
