Well, Carolina is bound for Shreveport, La for the Independence Bowl. Apparently on the bowl payout list this is a rather good bowl for it's tier as it pays out $1.2 million. The Peach is $1.6 million and the bowl below this one, the Music City in Nashville is $700,000. Still, it's hard seeing Florida go to the Outback Bowl when we beat them. Of course, we don't have as much to complain about as LSU... they ended up in the Peach Bowl with two teams that they beat this year playing better January bowls above them.
Anyway, this is a trip we're not making... way too expensive to fly out there and something like 15-16 hours or so to drive. But, the game is on ESPN HD on Dec. 30th at 3:30pm, so at least we'll be able to watch the game.
Now, to find out how good Missouri (6-5) is this season... for as much college football as I watch, I really don't know anything about them.
