At least it's passed for the most part as of this morning... I was worried it would last through Thanksgiving. Just a head cold anyway, nothing like Christina's bronchitis she had for almost two weeks. At least she's feeling better too!

Not a lot of updates again... things have just been rollin' along for the most part.
Had a good weekend... can't remember much that we did though. One thing was going to paint pottery. I knew Christina had wanted to do that for a while so we tracked down the place near us. We pick up the final pieces on Friday. Every month except November and December they let you make your own pottery too, not just paint it.
Never did see Matrix Revolutions because the theater near us isn't showing it. Isn't that just a thing? It opens at the same moment on like 13,000+ screens worldwide and we can't see it at the theater down the road? heh.
This weekend is Florida @ home and it should be a tough game. I can't believe with the yards our defense has given up lately and the hot streak Florida's on that some people are still picking us out there in the media. I just hope Corso doesn't pick us... it's a kiss of death when he picks teams. Like I mentioned on the Tagboard to the left, we've pretty much won the games this year we were 'supposed' to win, we've split the toss-up games that could have went either way (Virginia and Ole Miss), and we've lost to the 'better' teams that I guess we were supposed to lose to. (Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas). We've got one more 'better' team left in Florida and one more toss-up game left in Clemson. It will certainly be interesting to see if the ship can be righted. It seems that teams never really have a down week against us yet they fall apart against other teams on other weeks... we certainly could use two the next couple weeks.
Definitely need to have some fun this weekend besides tailgating for Florida and the game. We're staying in way too much lately for my taste.
Boy, what a crappy game... kind of expected that though. Arkansas won the SEC West last year, they're no pushover team... I don't think anyone in the preseason realistically thought we'd beat them. Still, I'm tired of seeing only freshman and sophmores stepping up and making plays. I can't wait until we have a team full of good recruiting classes instead of just underclassmen. No matter how many times last night Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso talked about how good we'll be 'next year'.
Oh well, such is life...
Having a Thursday night game though does free up your weekend really nicely. Not sure about specific plans, but we'll have to get out of the house the next couple days and do something. I think seeing Matrix: Revolutions is on that list sometime.
